Total Commander (English) • Batch rename files (CTRL+M) using folder/path name and parts of it

Upon recovering files from MAC SSD, the recovery software created a complex nested tree of folders like:

i:\_Lenka_recovery\Users\lela\Pictures\Fotky Library.photoslibrary\Masters\2001\01\01\20010101-001930
...
i:\_Lenka_recovery\Users\lela\Pictures\Fotky Library.photoslibrary\Masters\2014\10\23\20141023-131241

etc.

each of which contained the images itselves.

Browsing such results would have been very difficult for the user, so I needed to rename each image in these folders so, that it had the folder name that it has been in as a prefix of the new filename, e.g:

IMG_5667.JPG -> 20010101-001927_IMG_5667.JPG

Then I would place all the files in the top folder so that the user can browse the images sorted by the date from the path name.

I was not able to achieve this by Total Commander CTRL+M tool as it lacks this option/variable.

I found this utility: https://www bulkrenameutility .co.uk/
which has this function and I was able to do it.

Can you please add this to Total Commander? And also add an option to use maybe just part of the folder name, or name of the superior folder .. etc.

Thanks.
